Renee is Co-Director and teacher with the Santa Cruz Poetry Project, a nonprofit that brings weekly poetry and writing workshops to incarcerated individuals at the Santa Cruz County Jails. She also serves as a facilitator of the Women’s Writing Group at Temple Beth El, where she is a former Board Director. In addition, Renee previously served as a Board Member with Santa Cruz Shakespeare. Her work reflects a deep commitment to creativity, community, and the transformative power of storytelling and the arts.
